Benjamin worked on this show whilst simultaneously maintaining Taboo
and directing Alice Through the Looking Glass
in Oxfordshire at the weekends.
He spent a four-week period waking up at 6 o'clock every morning, rehearsing Macbeth during the weekdays, watching Tabbo in the evenings and directing Alice at the weekends. He claims never to have been so tired, and says he's never been such a useless assistant. He fell asleep in rehearsals every afternoon after lunch. His sincerest apologies go to Phyllida Lloyd!
